This
web site is an outreach of the work here in Northern Ireland through the
missionary family, "The
Smiths"
Our
Mission
We want to
Preach the Word of
God
To Reach the World for God
We want to proclaim the Gospel through every available means. Simply and clearly bringing the lost to an understanding of the Gospel and giving them the opportunity to receive Christ.
Our
Purpose
To promote the
Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Jesus told us to go into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature.
Romans 10:17 …faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word
of God.
Our
Desire
To introduce people to Jesus
Through His Word.
If the apostle Paul had only met a preacher,
if he had only heard a sermon on his way to Damascus,
we may have never heard of him at all.
Paul met Jesus, and this is what accounts for
the change in his life and this is our desire for the world.
A
brief biography of the ministry of Ronnie Smith
Ronnie was saved on December 17th, 1989.
He answered to the call of God on his life on April 1st, 1990 to preach the Word
of God.
He desired a good work (1 Timothy 3:1).
He graduated from West Lenoir
School of Ministries in Lenoir, North Carolina with an Associates degree in
Christian Education in 1993. He was then led to New Hope Baptist Church in Moore Haven,
Florida where he pastored for the next four and a half years. It was
there, in 1997, that he felt the call of God to leave his home land and
journey to a foreign country as a missionary. In 1998 the Lord opened up
the doors of opportunity to visit Northern Ireland and from there the Lord
continued to lead in the direction to get him to that country as a missionary.
After
turning the church in Florida over to another pastor Ronnie
returned to his home church, Emmanuel Baptist Church of Granite Falls, North
Carolina
and re-enrolled in his former Bible College where he took a further course that
earned him a M.D. in Theology.
During
this time of study he was accepted by Macedonia
World Baptist Missions and went on deputation to over two hundred churches
throughout the South East telling them of his desire and calling to go to
Northern Ireland as a missionary.
In the summer of 2000 he was fully supported by like minded Baptist churches and
was sent out of his home church, Emmanuel Baptist Church, as their missionary to
the land of Northern Ireland where he is currently establishing the Roe
Valley Baptist Church of Limavady, Northern Ireland.
