What about the verses that promise Physical Healing?
Isaiah 53:5 is taken out of context.
Compare with 1 Peter 2:24; By His stripes we are healed from our
punishment for sin.
God can and will heal physically; Isaiah 38:1-5
He does not always chose to heal His children.
Sometimes we must suffer; 2 Corinthians 11:23-28
It is not a matter of having Faith that God will heal;
It is a matter of having Faith in God’s Will. 1 Peter 4:19
§ Jesus healing ministry was unique, unequalled, and never duplicated.
§ The Apostles healing ministry was unique, unequalled, and never duplicated.
To be a true Apostle (1) Chosen personally of Christ, (2) Only twelve, (3) seen the resurrected Christ, (4) Received revelation directly from God and not from man, (5) Special signs, (6) Same authority as O.T. prophets, (7) Wrote Scriptures.
Christians were never given the command to heal.
Only to:
§ Live holy, peaceful, gentle lives
§ Preach the Gospel and see souls saved
§ Teach men the Word and see lives changed for the glory of God
§ To look for Christ’s return
§ To be obedient, faithful Christians
What about the verses that promise Physical Healing?
John 14:12 focuses on the spiritual works that we can do.

We focus much on the physical
Matthew 6:19; Matthew 10:39; 1 Timothy 4:8; Ephesians 6:12;
John 18:36
What about the verses that promise Physical Healing?
James 5:13-15
There are physical illnesses, emotional illnesses, health problems, personal tragedies, all of which the Lord can heal, and all of which the Lord can make a way to bear.
It is not a matter of having Faith that God will heal;
It is a matter of having Faith in God’s Will. 1 Peter 4:19
The greatest healing of all is the spiritual healing of forgiveness of sin, cleansing of our iniquities, a pardon for our trespasses.
